The joberg2c is travelling through four provinces of South Africa, riding off-roads that are rarely travelled and routes that have never been travelled. It’s about sharing a love of mountain biking with others who share the same sentiments. The villages, paths, vistas, and culinary feasts all cooperate to create this a soul-searching experience.

What does joberg2c entail?

joberg2c is a 900-kilometre, nine-day mountain biking expedition through four South African provinces. It’s 99.5 per cent off-road, with over 280 kilometres of single-track paths traversing through 220 private farms.

It’s a demanding but rewarding excursion that starts 85 kilometres south of Johannesburg and ends at Scottburgh Golf Club in Scottburgh, Kwa-Zulu Natal’s south coast. For some, it is a race, but for the majority, it is a ride.

If you are physically healthy enough, joberg2c may be one of the finest ways to see a huge area of South Africa while also experiencing the incredible hospitality of local communities. Take a ride across the beloved country!

CycTec | Q-Bike Wash & Lube Stand

CycTec, in collaboration with Q-Bike, is the official lube and wash supplier of the joberg2c. We plan on washing over 800 bikes and ensuring everyone has the smoothest ride possible.

Everybody that needs their bike washed and lube applied to continue riding or just to get their bike washed for after can be done. Just look for the washing station and you’ll be good to go!

This year riders must bring their rider bag and should make sure packed in is a sleeping bag and a pillow, this time of year nights and early mornings are cold. This could mean up to zero degrees in the mornings. A minus 8 sleeping is properly rated and best for maximum comfort.
